Acuworx has truly changed my view of alternative medicine and provided me with unparalleled results. I originally began treatment due to horrific Eustachian tube dysfunction. I’ve had serious ear issues for years including reconstructive surgery for a rare ear disease. Unfortunately for me, my favorite hobby is scuba diving and my medical diagnosis and true loves of the ocean do not mix well. After a brief dive in May (aka less than one hour) I was unable to hear for roughly two months due to water in the ear. Because of my history of ear infections and cholesteatoma, my surgeon was reluctant to cause additional trauma to my “good ear” by putting in a tube to drain the fluid. I was willing to wait and decided to try acupuncture in the meantime. I am beyond grateful I found Acuworx and Alexandria. Within a few short visits my ear was popping normally and I finally began to regain my hearing. I never had to move forward with the surgical procedure and have not had an ear issue since. I am hoping this continues after an upcoming dive trip! I haven’t stopped coming since and Alex has helped me with stress relief, anxiety, knee and hip pain as I have transitioned back into working out intensely post Covid. I look forward to every single visit and value the time in the office.
